Delivering Results for Our Communities
I ran for office because I believe government works best when it solves real problems for real people. Every community deserves safe neighborhoods, excellent schools, reliable infrastructure, affordable healthcare, and an economy where working families can build a good life.
As your State Representative, my focus is simple: listen first, bring people together, and deliver practical solutions that improve everyday life.
Lowering Costs for Families
Too many families are feeling squeezed by rising costs. While there are no easy answers, state government can make a meaningful difference by protecting consumers, strengthening competition, and making sure people receive the benefits they've earned.
I've supported efforts to improve consumer protections, expand access to healthcare, and make government work more effectively for working families and seniors.
Accessible, Affordable Healthcare
Healthcare should be accessible, affordable, and centered on patients—not unnecessary bureaucracy.
I've worked to improve access to medically necessary care, reduce barriers within our healthcare system, and stand up for patients navigating insurance and Medicaid. Whether it's expanding access to essential medical equipment or improving healthcare delivery, my priority is making sure people can get the care they need.
Protecting Consumers
Families should know that government is looking out for them when markets fail.
I've supported stronger consumer protections, including greater oversight of homeowners insurance rates and efforts to ensure Illinois families are treated fairly by large institutions. Government has a responsibility to make markets work fairly while protecting taxpayers.
Supporting Working Families
Strong communities begin with good jobs and a strong middle class.
I believe Illinois should continue investing in infrastructure, workforce development, organized labor, and local businesses while creating an environment where employers want to grow and create jobs here. We can support workers' rights and economic growth at the same time.
Investing in Our Communities
The Northwest suburbs thrive when our communities are connected, our infrastructure is reliable, and local governments have strong partners in Springfield.
I will continue working with municipalities, school districts, park districts, first responders, nonprofits, labor organizations, and local businesses to deliver investments that strengthen our neighborhoods today while preparing them for the future.
Strong Public Schools
Every child deserves access to a high-quality public education, regardless of their ZIP code.
I support fully funding our public schools, investing in teachers, expanding career and technical education, and ensuring students have the resources they need to succeed in college, the skilled trades, or whatever path they choose.
Safe Neighborhoods
Public safety is one of government's most important responsibilities.
Everyone deserves to feel safe where they live, work, and raise a family. That means supporting law enforcement, investing in violence prevention and mental health services, and ensuring our justice system is fair, accountable, and effective.
Leadership That Brings People Together
The challenges facing Illinois rarely fit neatly into partisan boxes. Progress comes when people with different perspectives sit down, listen to one another, and focus on solutions instead of slogans.
That is the kind of representative I strive to be every day: accessible, thoughtful, and committed to getting results for the people of the Northwest suburbs.
